Buddy Boy Farm

Buddy Boy Farms has been growing out of Eastern Washington for over 40 years. Buddy Boy was started by Steve and DJ "Deej".

The farm itself has an organic certification for fruits and vegetables, but due to cannabis being (still) federally illegal and their occasional use of some mineral fertilizers, they don't have an organic certification for the cannabis they grow. Nonetheless, they apply the same techniques for their cannabis as they do for their organic produce. This includes watering with clear spring water sourced from a natural spring at the farm, using only organic soil, and replacing pesticides with beneficial predators (predatory mites and tiny stethorus beetles). Additionally, the farm will also use the following to help fight and prevent plant diseases inside of their greenhouses:

• Hydrogen peroxide
• Organic bacillus thuringiensis
  
• Neem tree oil
  
• Eucalyptus bark oil
  
• Lemon grass oil
  
• Rosemary oil
  
• Canola Oil
  

During the summer, the farm allows visitors to sample their organic fruits and veggies. Before arriving, guests need to fill out a "fan form" which can be done through their website.
