The Real Seed Company focuses on landrace strains of cannabis. The company is made up of breeders who dedicate themselves to Asian landraces, as this is the area with the most cannabis biodiversity and its original homeland. The company gets its seeds directly from historic cultivation centers, including Thailand, Nepal, Lebanon, India, and the Hindu Kush. The company has been selling its seeds online since 2007.

The Real Seed Company only sells landraces and does not offer hybridized or feminized seeds. It is also highly transparent, always indicating if there is any chance of modern hybrids influencing a given seed.

The company sells all of its seeds in long-term protection packaging.
