Super Sativa Seed Club

The Super Sativa Seed Club (SSSC) is a pioneering Dutch seed bank that was founded in the mid-eighties when "Sam the Skunkman" gave Karel Schelfhout the original Skunk #1 and Haze seeds.

Over the years, SSSC's genetics have pushed the limits of breeding and growing all over the world, and the company is widely recognized as one of the first and most influential seed banks in the world.

In the 1990s, Karel shifted his focus to genetic preservation and breeding new cannabis strains for Amsterdam coffee shops. He also continued to work on developing advanced indoor growing techniques, making him an authority in the field of elite genetics, breeding, and cultivation. Around this time, Karel's son Kees joined him, bringing a new generation of breeding expertise to the company. Today, SSSC continues to offer a range of special genetics that are descended from the original SSSC seeds, as well as newer strains developed by Kees.

In 2015, Kees discovered that his father had been secretly growing Old School Haze for many years, and he set out to reintroduce the original taste and quality of this strain to the market. Thanks to his efforts, SSSC is now able to sell original Old School Haze seeds, in addition to the many other special genetics from the old seed collection. SSSC is proud to be a member of the esteemed High Times Hall of Fame, where it is recognized for its contributions to the cannabis industry.
