Frida

Named in honor of Frida Kahlo, a prolific artist who dealt with chronic pain throughout her life, Frida is a high-CBD cannabis strain that was specifically developed to relieve pain. Raven Glass created Frida by crossing the high-CBD bud ACDC and DJ Short's own Whitaker Blues. This strain's nickname is "The Heroine of Pain", and that is a great description of her attributes; patients who have used Frida enjoy a mellow body buzz and an uplifted, calm, clear-headed effect. Buds of Frida are densely packed and a deep pine tree green, each laced with potent trichomes and inside of them a syrupy resin that smells earthy with hints of aromatic pine and citrus fruits.
