Allegedly a fruity combination of LA Confidential and Grapefruit, Citrix is a balanced hybrid enjoyed by cannabis enthusiasts for its calming and uplifting effects. Patients say that the Citrix experience begins with a stimulating head effect that leads to introspective thought, which then transitions into a huge burst of mental and physical energy that can be the precursor to creative work, exercise, or deep conversation. Buds of this strain have a smell reminiscent of its citrus-flavored parent, Grapefruit, and each flower is composed of sage green calyxes that are tipped with light orange pistils and a healthy dusting of sticky, potent trichomes.
Allegedly a descendent of the original Afghani Kush landrace strain, Citrus Kush is the brighter, sweeter relative. Finding this strain can be very difficult as it is a rare strain, but those who have had the opportunity to sample it say that it gives them a potent and motivating euphoria that soothes pain and stress throughout the mind and body. Each of Citrus Kush's spade-shaped buds has a musky wooden smell with, obviously, a bright note of fresh citrus that comes through particularly well when vaporized. This strain may help some patients to manage symptoms of depression, anxiety, chronic pain conditions, and appetite loss.
Citrus Punch is a hard-to-find sativa-dominant blend of Clementine and Sour Tangie that really does smell like a big, fresh blast of citrus. Like most sativa-dominant strains, Citrus Punch provides patients with a euphoric cerebral mood shift, while the indica side of this strain works to soothe pain with its tingling body buzz. These effects mean that citrus punch may be helpful in relieving some symptoms of fatigue, depression, and chronic pain conditions. Get this amazing strain when you see it though because it is an incredibly rare bud.
Gorilla Glue #4 and Tangie were bred by DNA Genetics to create a sativa-dominant bud that combines the best traits of its beloved parent strains. This strain is known to produce round buds with a pungent smell of, you guessed it, citrus. Citrus Sap imbues patients with a sense of calm euphoria, leaving its user feeling focused while melting stress and pain throughout the body. This strain is also incredibly potent, testing at over 28% THC, which may be overwhelmingly potent for new cannabis patients or for those who have a low tolerance for THC. For patients who are looking for an energizing hybrid, though, Citrus Sap may provide potent relief of chronic pain conditions, depression, fatigue, anxiety, and appetite loss.
