Clearly hailing from beautiful Colorado, Colorado Bubba was created when Vault Genetics combined Bubba Kush with Skywalker. What resulted would become the gold medal winner for Best Indica in the 2014 High Times' Amsterdam Cannabis Cup. Patients have described Colorado Bubba as producing a blissful mood-altering effect that extends throughout the body and soothes stress, tension, and pain. Buds of this cannabis strain are huge, with chunky calyxes, fine sparkling trichomes, spiraled peach-colored pistils, and a spicy nutty aroma that smells like a forest full of pine trees. This strain's effects may help alleviate some symptoms of insomnia, chronic pain conditions, appetite loss, anxiety, and depression.
Allegedly a sativa-dominant hybrid, Colorado Chem won the 2nd place prize for the "People's Choice" category in Denver's 2014 Cannabis Cup. This strain is known for its high potency, as it has been shown to test over 20% THC, and for its stimulating and long-lasting effects. Those who have used Colorado Chem report that it delivers a euphoric head rush that leaves its user in a creative, laughing state. Colorado Chem has a pungent chemical fragrance, but alongside that is a sweet floral aroma that is surprisingly pleasant. This strain's round buds are surprisingly dense and coated with a thick layer of glittering trichomes.
Developed by La Plata Labs, Colorado Clementines combines Agent Orange with Big White into an indica-dominant hybrid with a particularly pungent sweet citrus flavor. Patients who have tried Colorado Clementines as delivering an extremely sedative effect that will leave its user in a state of total couch lock that relieves stress, pain, and tension wherever necessary. Because of this strain's potency and effects, it may be overwhelmingly strong for users who are new to using cannabis, those with low THC tolerance, or users who want to be able to medicate throughout the day. However, for patients who are medicating for conditions like insomnia, chronic pain conditions, or appetite loss, this strain may provide some relief.
