Elvis, clearly named for The King, is a sativa-dominant strain created by Seedism Seeds that blends the consistently enjoyed AK-47 with Skunk #3. This heritage gives Elvis a mellow, soothing body high that perfectly entwines with the strain's stimulating creative head rush. Each bud is a collection of interwoven bright green calyxes and orange pistils, all dusted with a fine coat of trichomes. This strain's flowers tend to have a skunky, lemony aroma. Elvis's potency depends a lot upon the quality of its care as a plant, as tests range between 13-22% THC.
Blending the beloved strain Jack Herer with Emerald OG produced Emerald Jack, an extremely sativa-dominant bud that is possibly even more euphoric than expected. Emerald Jack is described by cannabis users as intensely uplifting, delivering a head rush that some patients see as exciting while others find dizzying. Due to this strain's effects, some patients (particularly those who are new to using cannabis) may want to try Emerald Jack at a slow pace, as taking too much can give side effects of headaches, dizziness, and even paranoia. This plant is a fairly fast grower, flowering in just under 10 weeks, and the high yield of buds it produces are known for being potent in a wide variety of beneficial terpenes. These flowers give off a skunky aroma and a bright lemon taste.
The California Breeders Association developed Emerald Og by crossing Emerald Diesel with Fire OG. This resulted in this indica-dominant strain known for its intoxicating note of cerebral euphoria. Surprisingly energetic, this strain works well for any time of day due to the clear-headed effects that this strain produces alongside Emerald OG's more obvious physically relaxing effects. Emerald OG's flowers produce a delightful vanilla fragrance that beautifully melds with their citrusy flavor. The buds are cloudy white from the blanket of trichomes that coat their green surface, each dotted with a warmly colored array of spiraling pistils.
One of the strongest strains of 2016 according to High Times, Emperor Cookie Dough is the royal combination of Girl Scout Cookies and Emperor OG. Developed by Greenwolf LA, Emperor Cookie Dough has been tested as high as 31% THC, making it some of the strongest cannabis in the world. If that isn't enough to sell you on this intense strain, this strain boasts the same delicious cookie aroma of the original girl scout cookies, mixed with a hint of earthy floral notes. Each of this strain's light green buds is covered in potent chunky trichomes. Those who have tried the strain report that the euphoric giggly effects of this strain are incredibly pleasant, and the stimulating full-body buzz that this strain produces distracts from pain and allows the mind to focus.
