A CBD-rich mostly sativa strain developed by Israeli cannabis company Tikun Olam, Rafael (sometimes spelled Raphael) provides a functional, pain-relieving high. This strain can be quite difficult to find in the United States, but cannabis connoisseurs who have been lucky enough to try it say that its buds have a fruity smell and a fresh, sweet peach flavor. Rafael's flowers are undoubtedly gorgeous, their trichome-covered, fluffy, light green buds each accented by patches of thick peach-colored pistils. Effects of this strain are said to be uplifting, relaxing, and generally quite focusing, which makes this strain an ideal choice for daytime medication.
A multicolored mostly indica cannabis strain derived from Master Kush, Montel's Pride, and Hindu Kush cannabis strains. Cannabis enthusiasts who have found the somewhat rare strain Rainbow note that it has a piney aroma remarkably similar to its Kush heritage, and a shockingly pungent, skunky flavor. Buds of Rainbow might have deep lavender or emerald green calyxes, and each one is decorated with patches of colorful pistils and a generous halo of sparkly trichomes. Rainbow provides a thoroughly relaxing and often sedative body buzz, and the strain's mental effects tend to be focusing, euphoric, and somewhat mellow.
