Serious Seeds

Serious Seeds has been breeding award-winning cannabis seeds since 1994. By November 2018, it had received over 100 awards around the world for many strains you might be familiar with already, such as AK-47, Bubble Gum, Chronic, Kali Mist, and White Russian.

The company's origins began when Simon Smit, who studied biology at Vrije Universiteit in Amsterdam, began traveling the world and collecting cannabis seeds. Using his biology knowledge, Simon eventually ventured into crossbreeding strains. Before founding Serious Seeds, he spent time at Sensi Seeds.

Serious Seeds believe that their seeds should be stable and easy to grow, both for recreational and medicinal purposes. Additionally, they strive to develop seeds with homogenous genetics and only produce in small batches that are tested for germination rates and uniformity. If you find yourself with any Serious seeds that failed to germinate, simply notify them and they will send you a replacement free of charge.

The company has now ventured into the CBD product category by coming out with their own CBD-version of their fan-favorites including CBD-Chronic and CBD-Warlock (which won People's Choice at the 2016 Bio-Cannabis-Cup) as well as a CBD oil.
